Pricing is little towards the higher end but the plants are well maintained and staff is really friendly and helpful.
LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! They have such a great variety of plants and I wish I had known about them sooner with how close they are to my home. They are “off the beaten path” and I can’t wait to take my husband so I can torture him with getting more plants. 😂 …
Overall, a positive experience. Each plant has a helpful placard describing how big each plant will grow, common uses, etc. After allowing us some time to browse, a staff member offered to help us and made knowledgeable suggestions once we shared our need. Lost one star because the entrance is hard to see -- I almost overshot.
Our church got Christmas poinsettias from Meadows Farms Burtonsville for the first time this year. Holly and Donna were so nice and very helpful with the ordering process. The poinsettias were delivered on time. The plants themselves were gorgeous! We got many compliments on how beautiful they were. I look forward to ordering from Meadows Farms again.
Well organized, good quality plants, wide variety, plants are price worthy, helpful staff. This is my first visit to Meadows Farms Nurseries. I would recommend them highly. The staff is knowledgeable as well.
Medium sized garden center tucked off of above Rte 198 in Burtonsville, this nursery is very well laid out with offerings of trees, shrubs and plants. The site also offers unique annual offerings and a large array of flowering perennials. The free VIP club offers sale prices for most plants on-site and is worth joining.
For landscaping purposes there are lots of options in river and drainage rocks, mulch and Bags of soil.
Late season perennials were priced to move and very affordable.
The site offers hand sanitizer stations and everyone wears masks on the staff. The staff is very helpful and friendly.
Definitely planning to return!
I don’t appreciate this business claiming to offer special lower prices for VIP’s only. It’s just a cheesy way to bamboozle you into giving them your phone number and email address. All of the sales looked like they were for VIP folks.I just turned around and walked out of the place empty handed.Why are they so desperate for people’s phone number and email address? On top of it, the flowers did not look well-watered and healthy. I’m going to Home Depot in the morning. Very disappointing.
Meadow Farm Nursery in Burtonsville MD is a full service garden center. They carry a full selection of Trees, bushes, annuals and perennials. The staff is helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this business.
